A very expressive nose, showing some delicate notes of white flowers, lavender, dark plum and vanilla with a touch of clove in the background.Flavours of blueberries blend harmoniously with the slight smokiness of the oak. Elegant tannins give a good volume and energy to the wine
Would be the perfect match with rabbit ragout or crispy skinned pork belly, or sit and relax by the fire with a glass and a piece of your favourite dark chocolate.
This wine has a beautiful frame which will allow it to age gracefuly for up to 10 years.
It sits a smidgen above medium weight and offers rounds of ripe fruit, suggesting it will have widespread appeal, though if you look closely there are peppercorn and cedar wood notes too; it's not a one trick pony. Neat as a pin, with substance.
