Notes of plum and black cherry with hints of tar, fresh earth and baking spices characterise the nose. Notes of lavender are folded into the background.
Medium to full-bodied, with notes of red to blue fruits weaving across the front palate. Iron rich, scorched earth flavours with hints of bitter chocolate are also evident. Tannins are bold and savoury in nature and are accented with five spice and hints of incense across a long rolling finish.
