The Yard Wines is a small family owned producer dedicated to showcasing the exceptional vineyards of Western Australia's Great Southern. The Justin Vineyard Shiraz is crafted in collaboration with acclaimed Western Australian winemaker Larry Cherubino, whose focus on regional expression and minimal intervention allows the vineyard to shine in every vintage.

The Justin Vineyard sits in Frankland River, one of Australia's finest cool climate regions for Shiraz. Ancient gravelly soils, warm days and cool nights encourage slow, even ripening, producing wines with intense fruit, savoury spice and finely structured tannins. The outstanding 2016 vintage has matured beautifully, revealing the complexity that makes Frankland River Shiraz so highly regarded.

The colour is a deep garnet with youthful crimson highlights. Aromas of blackberry, dark plum and black cherry mingle with cracked pepper, star anise and violet. With time in the glass, notes of liquorice, cedar and earthy spice emerge, adding further depth and intrigue. The palate is rich yet beautifully composed, combining concentrated dark fruits with silky tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, savoury finish that lingers with impressive persistence.
