Sourced from the most mature vineyards in Mount Barker, only the very best parcels of the fruit are selected for ‘Two Steps’. This is a gorgeous aromatic Shiraz with the savory and spicy fruit characters typical of the region.
This wine has a rich, ripe fruit mid palate and after 16 months maturation in French oak barques, it has amazing depth, richness and complexity.
Grown on the 40yo Langton Vineyard at Mount Barker. French oak, 20% new. It's not overripe or anything silly like that, but it still feels like a no holds barred style. It's rocked with tannin and bold with fruit, the palate throwing left hooks of flavour all the way through the palate. Stand back and give it time to settle in the cellar for a while. Needless to say the quality is excellent.
