An elegant style that is typical of the Clare Valley region, characterised by bright lively aromas, subtle fruit flavours and fine grained tannins.
Medium to full-bodied, this Shiraz saturates the palate with a wall of fruit, highlighted by notes of blueberry and plum, fresh-picked white flowers and high-toned spice. Well balanced, aided by its refreshing acidity through the mid-palate and its caressing tannins pushing the flavour through the length of the palate.
Deep, dark red/purple colour, with both mineral, ironstone, herbal and spicy aspects to its bouquet. There is abundant richness, concentration and fleshy density here. The wine is big and gutsy, very full-bodied and loaded with flavour, and a nice core of sweet fruit, all of which lingers long and satisfyingly. A very smart big red. 08 APR 2019 Drink 2019–2034
