A fantastic white Burgundy from an exceptional producer. Anne Gros is one of the most prominent female figures in the Burgundian wine scene, and creates incredible wines. Her Saint Veran Blanc is 100% Chardonnay, coming from 50 year old Chardonnay vines located between Leynes and Chasselas and oriented South and East on clay and limestone soils.
The wine is elegant and complex, with notes of apricot, verbena, pear, hazelnut, and a hint of honey.
Perfect to pair with cream sauces, lobster and scallops.
