Intense and deep ruby red hue. Raspberry, violets, and red peppercorn aromas. Intense and focused as it drives long to the finish. It is a wine more of tension and presence than flavour profile, though there's ample red berries, dark slate mineral, and bay leaf notes to occupy the senses. A pristine and captivating shiraz from every angle. While it appears delicate, with florals and red fruits interspersed with woodsy spices and a whisper of pepper, it's all about refinement. It is also wonderfully savoury. A medium-bodied palate, juicy, with a unison between superfine raw silk tannins and acidity. Complex, compelling and utterly delicious at the same time.

Collector Wines produces small quantities of table wine. Grapes are grown on the characteristic lean pink granites and reddish shale loams of the Canberra District and Tumbarumba. The wines are hand-made for balance, character and depth of flavour. A blend of Shiraz (98%) and Viognier (2%).
