Richer than the Polish Hill, but more feline in its approach, building on this throughout the palate, but in doing so, the attack is tightly controlled, the dominant lime flavours thoroughly enjoyable.

Fresh, green and dried herb nuances show in the bouquet of this fresh young riesling, while the palate is tense, dry and nervy with a lean profile and very dry, but not austere, aftertaste. It's a fine wine, good drinking now but will appreciate some cellar time.15 SEP 2018

The Springvale vineyard is unique on two fronts: First, its odd shape accurately reflects the red loam-over-limestone profile below. Under this limestone is slate, its existence discovered by us only after the vine roots had reached that far. Second, the mix of riesling clones is rare. The result is a deliciously limey riesling with backbone.
