Deepish red colourwith a good tint of purple. The bouquet is berry-ish as well as spicy and loaded with fumy garrigue-herb aromas. The palate is powerful, intense and concentrated, with slightly extractive bitter tannins that add a not-disagreeable refreshment to the finish. Blueberry and sage aromas, very distinctive and loaded with personality. A superb wine in the making. It needs time and will richly reward the patient.
