Deep red/purple colour, with a rich, nutty aroma which invokes brazil nut and walnut, with a neat patina of oak. The wine has richness and fullness, very ripe flavours and no sign of eucalyptus-mint. Blackberry and plum, coconut and spice. Concentration plus. A surprisingly opulent shiraz for a Coonawarra and very impressive.

A concentrated, rich style with oak flavours infusing everything. Laden with licorice, mocha and hazelnut-skin tannins and yet, there's a ball of outrageously juicy fruit in the middle of it all. There's also bright acidity and a youthful vitality that makes it appealing now, but better in the long term.

The Majella Shiraz first appeared in 1991 and has since acquired a reputation as one of Coonawarra's finest Shiraz's.
A deep ruby red colour with a bright crimson hue. A spicy cinnamon bouquet, a delicious palate of dark red berry fruits, dark chocolate with hints of vanillin. The fine textured tannins lead to a long and evenly balanced finish.
