Medium-depth purple colour, with a lifted high-toned fragrance of raspberry, red cherry and violets. Gorgeous perfume! The wine is medium to full in weight and softly rounded, fine and approachable, with up-front deliciousness. An almost New World style. The trade-off is that it's not quite as concentrated, powerful or long as the best M&B Burgundies. But a lovely wine all the same.
