Hand-picked in small batches from the best sections of the vineyard, fermented separately, building a wine with 15% whole bunch, 85% whole berry. Open-fermented, with an average of 9 days on skins, matured for 18 months in French oak (25% new). It's medium-bodied, but offers a multiplicity of flavours, texture and structure; the fruit ripened a point, filling the mouth and very long palate.
