2018 Wilson Watervale Riesling, Clare Valley

The Wilson Vineyard Label Commission commenced in 2012 in association with the Helpmann Academy and provides an outstanding opportunity for South Australia’s emerging artists.

The Helpmann Academy each year offers South Australian visual artists the chance to submit an artwork to be used as the label on the Wilson Vineyard Polish Hill River Riesling, which is widely distributed nationally and internationally.

The chosen artist receives full credit on the wine’s back label and joins a long list of South Australian based artists who've created more than 50 original artworks for the Wilson Vineyard since 1988.

The tone of the aroma and flavour of this wine are distinctly different to its Polish Hill River siblings, firmer and more direct, lemon, lime and mineral on the finish.
