A wine set to divide. Remy is quite idiosyncratic, in that it openly embraces and celebrates the practice of adding stems early in the winemaking process. That much is clear from the aromas and flavours. Are they a distraction from the fruit? Yes. Which is not to suggest that the fruit is completely in the shade, it's not. Still, it would be good to enjoy a little more of it.
