Chateau de Bellet has crafted a magnificent rose from 100% Braquet, vinified by cold skin maceration, then aged on lees, partially in amphora and stainless steel tanks for six months. The elegant, fresh aromatics of wild strawberries gives way to complex notes of violets and spices. Then, the attack is frank and generous on the palate, with red berries, raspberries and redcurrants. The finish is long, with a beautiful minerality.
Average age of the vines: 30 years.
This wine is a pale rosé colour, underscored by yellow tints. It displays an intense and complex floral notes of violet and a subtle touch of hawthorn. The elegant and perfectly balanced palate is at once fat and lively. The long finish ends with spicy and licorice notes. Typical of the Braquet variety, this rosé wine is perfectly suitable as an aperitif, as it is smooth with aromatic finesse. It is well matched to gastronomic Mediterranean cuisine. And perfect with braised artichokes or sea bass with fennel.
