A more sauvage and forest floor-inflected nose speaks of equally fresh aromas of primarily various red berries and a hint of humus. There is first-rate punch with excellent delineation on the moderately austere, muscular and rustic finale. This is clearly built-to-age and Valozières always needs at least a decade to round off the grippy tannins.
