Awash with dark fruit, toasty cedary oak and a bolder imprint. Full bodied and intense with layers of fruit over spices, raspy tannins over acidity. A burly wine that is still coming together, the oak not quite integrated. Time will tell.

Rob Dolan has been making wine in the Yarra Valley for over 20 years, and knows every nook and cranny there. In 2011 he was able to purchase the Hardys Yarra Burn winery at an enticing price. It is singularly well equipped, and in addition to making the excellent Rob Dolan wines there, he conducts an extensive contract winemaking business.
