The 2019 Etna Bianco de Aetna lifts up with a smoky display of musky dried apricots and hints of sour citrus. It’s soft-textured with a noticeable inner sweetness, as green apple gives way to salty minerals and, finally, a hint of almond. Energy remains high throughout the long finale as this tapers off toward the tropical spectrum, yet leaves the palate completely refreshed.
