The Wilson Vineyard Label Commission commenced in 2012 in association with the Helpmann Academy and provides an outstanding opportunity for South Australia’s emerging artists.
The Helpmann Academy each year offers South Australian visual artists the chance to submit an artwork to be used as the label on the Wilson Vineyard Polish Hill River Riesling, which is widely distributed nationally and internationally.
The chosen artist receives full credit on the wine’s back label and joins a long list of South Australian based artists who've created more than 50 original artworks for the Wilson Vineyard since 1988.
Planted on a band of limestone that runs along the range to the east of the Watervale township. Its slightly unusual bouquet, with a grassy overtone, turns into a fresh palate with mouth-freshening acidity. Very good value.
