The name "The Chap" is a nod to the traditional blend of Shiraz and Cabernet that has been part of Australia’s winemaking story for decades. McLaren Vale contributes plushness, dark fruit, and spice, while Coonawarra brings its hallmark structure, minty lift, and fine tannins thanks to the famed terra rossa soils. Ben Riggs, with more than 30 vintages under his belt, is known for his ability to coax richness and balance from South Australia’s diverse vineyards.
