The Estate pinots usually have a power and density of fruit but this is far more restrained and pared back, à la vintage. It’s refreshing, offering enticing aromatics, a touch of menthol with sweet and spicy fruit working across the medium-bodied palate. It’s juicy and tangy, with reticent tannins, finishing short yet it’s appealing for its lightness. Best in the short term.
