A much finer and less-structured offering this vintage, but a lovely drink nonetheless. It’s a pretty wine; the aromas charm with wafts of rose petals and baking spices alongside flavours of alpine strawberries, cranberries and squishy raspberries. Lighter framed with gentle, lithe tannins and refreshing acidity. It’s a perfect pinot to drink now, rather than cellar.

Light to mid-ruby colour with a good tinge of purple. The nose is very bright and aromatic strawberry to raspberry. Light-bodied and fresh, vibrant, crisp, cool-grown style of pinot, delicate and floral with lightness yet intensity and persistence. A delicious, fine-boned pinot. 06 AUG 2021 Drink 2021–2028
