Allegrini, a historic family-run estate with winemaking roots dating back to the 16th century, is known for its innovative approach to Valpolicella wines. The palate is full-bodied yet smooth, with velvety tannins framing rich dark fruit flavors. A touch of vanilla and toasted almond from oak aging adds depth, while fresh acidity keeps the wine lively and balanced. The finish is long and elegant, leaving notes of black pepper, licorice, and dried herbs.

This Venetian red pairs beautifully with braised meats, slow-cooked beef ragu, and roasted lamb. Its richness and complexity also make it an excellent match for aged cheeses, wild mushroom risotto, or traditional Italian dishes like ossobuco.
