Impressively deep red-purple colour, bright and clear, the bouquet big on dark-cherry to blackberry, bold fruit and not overtly whole-bunchy, while the palate is full and rich and succulent, loaded with lovely ripe cherry/berry fruit and superfine tannins in superb harmony. Long finish; truly satisfying. An outstanding pinot noir with a bright future. MAY 2023 Drink 2023–2036

This is a powerful and complex wine, reflective of its Reserve status. Upon opening the nose is aromatic, with lifted dark cherry, plum and spice aromas. The rich palate features intense dark cherry and berry flavours, matched by fine tannins and bright acidity and finishing with superb length and intensity. This limited release wine can be enjoyed now, yet will also reward careful cellaring.
