From a whopping 5.5 ha holding in 8 different climats all situated in Comblanchien.
A pretty and attractively fresh nose reveals notes of red currant, dark raspberry, earth and a similar hint of the sauvage. There is fine richness to the supple but punchy medium weight flavors that conclude in an utterly delicious and sneaky long finish that is also only mildly rustic.

Made with 25% whole bunch vinification, and aged in 45% new wood. These come from the lower slopes. Clos Bardot, Boulardes, Platerre and Damoda, all in Comblanchien. Rich mid purple. The nose has some dark raspberry succulence alongside a minor reduction. Quite a wealth of fruit, this is deceptively good! I like the way the dark red fruit digs deep and then softens in a long, well balanced finish. Drink from 2025-2028.
