1.30 ha mostly from Charbonnières with additions from Longecourts, Maladières, Fleurières, which are all in the southern portion of the appellation.
‘Firm reduction flattens the nose at present. The sleek and tension-filled middleweight flavors possess a relatively finely textured mid-palate that contrasts with the mildly rustic and austere finale. This impressively long effort could also use better depth but that is almost certain to develop. A quality Nuits villages’.

Made with 25% whole bunch vinification, and aged in 60% new wood. A very powerful purple, with again some hints of reduction on the nose. Plenty of fruit weight at the front of the palate, including some vivid fresh raspberry, also some darker notes, while wood tannins are clearly present at the back, which shows moderate persistence, though the aftertaste indicates a better balance.
