The citrus, crushed stone and red fruit come through on the nose. Medium-bodied with firm and linear tannins and a vivid finish. Cherry and cedar at the end. Fresh finish. This needs time to soften the fine, firm tannins, but it’s lovely already. Drinkable now, but better in a year or two.

The Molino family have been making wine in La Morra for generations, with Mauro Molino establishing the estate as one of Barolo's most respected producers through meticulous vineyard work and an unwavering commitment to quality. Today the family continues that legacy, crafting wines that balance tradition, elegance and the unmistakable character of Nebbiolo from the Langhe.
This Barolo is sourced from organically farmed vineyards across the appellation, blending fruit from carefully selected sites to create a complete expression of Piedmont's most noble grape. Limestone rich marl soils, sustainable viticulture and thoughtful winemaking combine to produce a wine that is approachable in its youth while retaining the structure and complexity expected of classic Barolo.
The colour is a brilliant garnet red with youthful ruby highlights. Aromas of rose petals, red cherry and wild strawberry are layered with orange peel, liquorice, dried herbs and sweet spice. The palate is refined and beautifully balanced, combining vibrant red fruits with silky tannins and bright acidity. Notes of tar, cedar and earthy minerality emerge with time in the glass, leading to a long, savoury finish that lingers with impressive finesse.
Magnificent with white truffle risotto, braised beef cheeks, duck ragù with pappardelle or porcini mushroom dishes. Drinking beautifully with a generous decant today while rewarding patient cellaring through the 2040s.
