Dark, inky and vibrant in the glass. Classic cabernet aromas of cedar, tobacco, eucalyptus, cassis, bramble and spice. Full, firm and structured in flavour. Plenty of blackberry, plum, mulberry and menthol. Firm tannins and bright acidity deliver shape and cut and the length is smart. Good value 06 FEB 2024 Drink 2024–2034

Medium weight in a good way. Classically structured. Tobacco, currants, earth and bay leaves. Slight twang to the aftertaste but generally excellent.
The Outpost is sourced from the Wetherall vineyards located in the heart of the Coonawarra wine region. This wine is intensely bright, floral and fragrant on the nose with lovely length on the palate. A perfectly balanced Cabernet, very worthy of its reputation.
