There's a levity and freshness in this wine that seems almost an anomaly in the Clare Valley. It's elegant, refined, pure of fruit, savoury in a way and cinched with a web of silky yet puckering tannins. Plenty of aromatics too, sweet spice, clove, raspberry, brambles and turned earth in the mix. Great length and persistence of flavours too. A refined shiraz.
