Clones P58, I10V1, I10V3, I10V5, 76 and 95; whole-bunch pressed to barrel, wild-yeast fermentation, lees stirred monthly, matured in new and used French barriques for 12 months. 95 points Special Value ✪ James Halliday winecompanion.com.au Aug 2023
This is a complex and lively wine showing nectarine and grapefruit aromas rounded out by creamy notes and nutty oak. The palate is fresh with a mineral edge of white peach and grapefruit making way to a savoury mid palate and cashew nut oak finish. There is tremendous drive and structure with this wine which will reward cellaring over the next 6 to 8 years.
