A vibrant straw-gold colour gleams throughout the glass. Ripe white peaches and smoky-bacon aromas. The palate follows the same flavour profile, with the fruit and savoury elements all in abundance and showing great power and intensity. Alongside this there's ample acidity to keep that power controlled and driving to the long finish. A big and powerful example of Mornington chardonnay 07 MAR 2022 Drink 2022–2030

A classy KBS with fruit off the east-facing single vineyard. It comes packed with flavour, complexity and depth, yet fantastic acidity to drive this. Grapefruit, Meyer lemon and lemon balm to the fore, building on the fine palate before meeting up with a touch of delicate oak spice, nutty lees and a flourish of savouriness. Moreish and impossible to resist a 2nd glass.

The Stonier Vineyard's core focus is Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with the first vines planted in 1978 in the cool maritime climate of the Mornington Peninsula. The ideal location for these two early ripening grape varieties.
