Fruit from 34-year-old vines. Fermented in foudre and matured in French barrels (10% new). A bright, medium crimson red. One of my favourite wines in the TarraWarra portfolio, this is every bit as good, if not better, than last year's iteration. You'll find an attractive amalgam of dark cherries, plum, violets and mountain herbs on the nose, while the palate is ripe, plush and well balanced by the wine’s grippy, perfectly judged tannins.
