2022 3 Drops Mount Barker Riesling, Great Southern

From 20yo vines (planted 2002); no frills to the vinification, night harvested (by machine), pressed immediately, only free-run juice used, with cool fermentation in tank, clarified and bottled within three months. The bouquet is gently floral – citrus and apple blossom – but there's nothing gentle about the palate, which is intense and very persistent thanks to its rapier-like acidity and overall purity.

Pale straw colour .A distinctive aroma of orange blossom and fresh limes, fill the glass, backed by hints of jasmine. A generous and succulent wine, with opulent lemon and lime characters and hints of minerality. The tight linear acid structure provides a long, persistent palate.
