A bone-dry style from Castelli. And yet, despite that statement, it has lots of concentration and red apple fruitiness with a big squeeze of pink grapefruit and a sluice of saline, minerally acidity. Geez, that acidity is something else, makes you sweat on your upper cheeks and puckers the palate to a full reset. Great perfume of citrus blossoms, lime and apple. A powerful style, too, lots of energy and depth. Serious stuff here, and done well. Should cellar for an age.
