A wisp of struck flint spirals over the red cherry and red plum fruits here. Exotically spiced, too, with tones of amaro, roasting game, wildflowers and turned earth. Light, gamey nuance flows in on the palate along with hints of undergrowth and mushrooms. Tannins are fine and sandy with plenty of minerally drive as the wine slowly fades.
