Bright ruby with enticing aromas of dark cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry cut with hints of fine spice, a touch of gingerbread, forest floor notes, dried meats, mushroom broth, rhubarb, gentle herb and softly spoken oak notes. Pure fruit and some nice focus on the palate, the wine coiling, focusing, before releasing with a minerally tension, a savoury swoop of cherry and spice on the exit.
