Take a sip of this and ask yourself why you don't drink more malbec. It's such a good variety, especially well suited to Langhorne Creek, and it's in very good hands here. It's berried, leathery, a touch ferrous and lifted by floral and eucalypt notes. It's a lovely wine to drink, fresh and solid at once, and (very) good value too.

Malbec, a variety once popular in Bordeaux France, is now mostly associated with countries such as Argentina and regions such as Cahors in South West France. Langhorne Creek has a long history with Malbec and the climate is exceptionally well suited.
This Special Release Malbec is the result of block selection, the parcels have been kept separate and nurtured for maximum expression of varietal character. This wine shows an intense perfumed aroma of violets and spice with a bramble lift, on the palate the wine is rich and fleshy with fine tannins.
