.A smashing cool climate Cabernet from Canobolas Wines. So varietal, so delicious. Go here Cabernet lovers.
This moves and sways with its graceful presence as it cruises about with ease. Blackberries and black currants waltz with dark chocolate and Bay leaf. Dried herbs sit in the background and do so happily. But it's the silky delivery that captivates. From some of the original vines planted in the region (1986), this will live long. Winemaker Jon Mattick shared a brilliant 1989 Cabernet, and based on that, the longevity is clear. Bravo!

A poised and elegantly structured cabernet, with the powdery tannin and fine delicate florals. Bay leaf, sage and rosemary overlayed with a coffee and dark chocolate combination. The palate has a smooth feel, with the chalky tannins working neatly throughout. It's very tightly wound and needs cellaring time to achieve its full potential
