From a tiny 0.50ha plot of vines planted in 1998 with a south-east exposure located near the top of the hill of Grand cru’s.
(from a .50 ha parcel of vines on the ‘sunny’ side that were replanted in 1998; vinified in stainless but with the élevage in older wood). This is also aromatically cool with its pretty mix of pear confit, mineral reduction, floral and more obvious Chablis typicity. There is a really lovely sense of vibrancy to the energetic middleweight flavors that possess a gorgeous texture while exuding a fine bead of minerality on the long, dry and beautifully well-balanced finale. This is pretty much textbook Vaudésir that is very much a wine of finesse.
