From rows 58 to 68, planted with clone F6V7 in 1995. Whole bunches (25% ) and matured in 70% new oak. A deep-ish ruby red. Smells very primary with its aromas of maraschino cherries, allspice, nutmeg and vanillin oak that haven't fully integrated yet. On the palate, it has a seductively creamy texture and the tannins are firm and structured, adding up to a wine that's going to take a while to hit its straps. 125 dozen made.
