From the Woodside single vineyard in central Adelaide Hills, fruit was handpicked and underwent a four day carbonic maceration with 25% whole bunches.
Fermented to bone-dry and then pressed into old oak for a five month rest prior to bottling, the result is bright cherry red, with abundant red fruit, white pepper and obvious whole bunch all supported by crunchy acidity and that core of structure that provides length and weight.
