Domaine Truchetet Les Clusers Bourgogne Rouge is a vibrant and delicately structured Pinot Noir from a rising star of Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits. Made by Morgan and Julie Truchetet, this cuvée reflects the family’s commitment to organic farming and gentle winemaking, offering a beautifully pure and expressive entry into red Burgundy from a single parcel just outside Premeaux-Prissey.

Les Clusers is a lieu-dit located on the lower slopes near Nuits-Saint-Georges, planted with old vine Pinot Noir on limestone-rich soils. While it wears the humble Bourgogne Rouge label, this wine punches well above its classification thanks to its thoughtful vineyard management and hands-off cellar work. The Truchetets farm organically and harvest by hand, using wild yeast fermentations and minimal new oak to highlight the brightness and finesse of the fruit.

In the glass, it shows aromas of wild strawberry, red cherry, rose petal, and a touch of spice. The palate is silky and fresh with supple tannins, lifted acidity, and a long, savoury finish laced with mineral notes.
