2022 Dr Loosen Urziger Wurzgarten Riesling Grosses Gewachs, Mosel

The 2022 Ürziger Würzgarten GG Alte Reben shows a promising spicy nose with clear and juicy fruit. It is dense and sweet on the palate, but in the tannins, it is rather gripping and drying at the end. Here, even the old vines seem to have had little effect against the dryness. In the winter, I will taste this otherwise excellent Riesling again when bottled. Tasted as a sample at the Vorpremiere VDP.Grosses Gewächs in Wiesbaden in August 2023
