Fiorini Chianti Superiore DOCG is a lively, food loving Tuscan red that leans into freshness, balance and classic Sangiovese character rather than sheer weight. The Fiorini family farms their vineyards on gently rolling hills in central Tuscany, where galestro and clay soils give Sangiovese its trademark brightness and savoury edge. Being labelled Superiore means lower yields and a little extra concentration, and Fiorini use this advantage to craft a wine that feels more structured and polished than everyday Chianti while still remaining approachable and versatile. Fermentation is traditional, followed by ageing in large oak to preserve purity and regional identity.

The aromas are bright and inviting. Red cherry, sour plum and wild strawberry sit alongside violet, dried herbs and a gentle note of spice. There is a classic Tuscan earthiness underneath the fruit, hints of terracotta, leather and a touch of balsamic that give the wine depth without heaviness. As it opens, subtle notes of cedar and dried rose add extra charm.

The palate is medium bodied, fresh and beautifully balanced. Juicy red fruit flows through fine, chalky tannins that give shape and grip without firmness. It is drinking well now but will continue to soften and gain nuance over the next four to six years.
