Bright red in colour, youthful and fresh spicy fragrance including cherries. The taste is juicy and delicious drink,with a slightly spicy finish.
These wines are produced by the Co-op in Saint-Saturnin just west of Montpeyrou, using local grape varieties grown on the south-facing slopes of the Cevennes. The clay-limestone soil is very rocky and benefits from a dry climate in summer that limits yields.
