A medium ruby color, the 2022 Barolo Albe marks the 50th vintage of this cuvée. Aromas of fresh cherries, spice, and ripe orange peel lead into a medium-bodied palate with purity and polish. Vajra a benchmark producer of modern classic Barolo.

The colour is a brilliant garnet red with youthful ruby highlights. Aromas of rose petals, red cherry and wild strawberry mingle with orange peel, liquorice and sweet spice. The palate is beautifully refined, layering vibrant red fruits over silky tannins and bright acidity. Hints of tar, dried herbs and crushed stone emerge with time in the glass, leading to a long, savoury finish that combines elegance with impressive depth.
