From 1989 plantings, the sophisticated and generously proportioned 2022 Pinot Noir Reveur is bold yet detailed, with strong savoury aromas of autumn leaves and dried roses underpinned by riper plummy tones. Firm acidity and chalky tannins are well matched to a powerful palate that builds to a strong, perfumed conclusion. Drink to 2035.

94 points Angus Hughson for Vinous, July 2026

Deep, dark, brooding colour, slight purple tinge. The bouquet is oaky, minty and developed and shows terracotta/earthy aromas with some roasted meat development creeping in with bottle-age. Dried herbs, nori, funky smoked charcuterie, some subtle whole-bunch cues, and the palate is full-blooded and bold, with abundant tannins and a touch of bitterness, all pointing to a wine that needs time and should pay dividends. Served now, it would go best with hearty protein. Drink to 2037.

92 points Huon Hooke for The Real Review, December 2025

Glaetzer-Dixon Family Winemakers is an urban winery based in Hobart, Tasmania. Established in 2008 by Nick and Sally Glaetzer, they source fruit primarily from a trusted dozen or so growers across Tasmania, with increasing amount of fruit coming from their own, 2018-planted 12-hectare site at Tea Tree in the Coal River Valley.

While famous for their award-winning Shiraz releases, it is their Pinot Noir and Riesling wines that have won them a legion of loyal customers.
