JMK is tribute to John Malcolm Kalleske, a fifth generation grapegrower who has hand pruned and harvested the fruit for this wine across more than fifty vintages on the family farm at Greenock.

It is sourced from select blocks of the certified organic and biodynamic estate, fermented in open top vessels and arrested with a combination of young and aged brandy spirit up to 23 years old. Twenty-one days on skins, four months in well-seasoned hogsheads, and only the finest barrels make the final selection.

Deep garnet, the nose is a rich and generous array of plum jam, ripe figs, dark chocolate, toffee and cherry liqueur with a warm spice undercurrent. The palate is luscious and sweet with excellent balance, the spirit well integrated and the fruit character carrying through to a long, satisfying finish.

Best enjoyed slowly in moderation after the meal is done.
