Bright village fruit from across the Côte d’Or comes together in a Pinot that aims for purity and easy drinkability rather than grand seriousness. The 2022 season gave ripe, clean grapes, and Jadot’s classic, gently traditional approach keeps oak in the background so the red-fruited charm can sit front and centre.
Ruby in the glass, it offers lifted aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry and a touch of cranberry, backed by rose petal, soft spice and a hint of forest floor. The palate is medium bodied and silky, with juicy red berry flavours, fine gentle tannins and enough acidity to keep everything lively, finishing with a lick of spice and subtle earth.
Very at home on a weeknight table, it works with roast chicken, pork sausages with onion gravy, mushroom pasta or a simple steak frites. It’s also a natural fit for charcuterie, terrines, mild washed-rind cheeses, or a spread of pâté, cornichons and crusty bread.
