Some tobacco, espresso and allspice come forth. Blackberries in the background. A richness of brown spices and maple leaf. Granular tannins and some Fernet bitterness on the finish. This is showing its savoury side, along with its spice and meaty tones. It's really hitting its stride now.

Parker Estate 95 Block Cabernet Sauvignon Petit Verdot from Coonawarra is a deeply structured, cellar-worthy red that blends the region’s signature elegance with brooding intensity. The 95 Block vineyard, named after its original planting year, lies on classic terra rossa soils over limestone, a hallmark of Coonawarra’s finest sites. These nutrient-rich, free-draining soils produce Cabernet with superb definition and Petit Verdot with lift and spice.

Winemaker Andrew Hardy brings decades of experience and a refined hand to the blend. After meticulous harvesting and sorting, the wine is fermented in small batches and matured in premium French oak barriques for over a year, allowing the varietal interplay to knit seamlessly.

Cabernet Sauvignon leads with its fine structure and aromas of cassis, blackcurrant and tobacco leaf, while Petit Verdot adds floral lift, violet, plum and hints of spice. The palate is layered and focused, with polished tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, savoury finish wrapped in dark fruit and cedar.
